EDC

In 1995 Alain Dominique Perrin bought out his school, EDC, together with 260 other ex-students, all of whom had become business leaders. The school, based in La Défense in Paris, was renamed School of Leaders and Creators of Business and became the leading entrepreneurial school in France.

Today, Alain Dominique Perrin is President and shareholder of EDC, School of Leaders and Creators of Business.

Founded in 1950, EDC is the oldest private French school of commerce. It has already trained more than 4,500 business leaders, of whom a half are founders of their own business.

With 12,000 graduates spread over 74 countries, it benefits from a powerful international network. Considered one of the best business schools, post-Baccalaureat, it also houses the Institut Supérieur du Marketing du Luxe, which develops an MBA programme “Luxury Brand Marketing and International Management”, which, with its 700 graduates, has become a worldwide reference for the profession; and the Institute Supérieur du Marketing du Goût, which since 2005 has offered an MBA programme “Food and Wine”, with the aim of training future managers of the gastronomy and wine business.

Since 2003 EDC has awarded each year Trophies for “Ethics and Governnance”, which reward 3 categories of business for their ethical initiatives.
