Further education

In 1995 Alain Dominique Perrin, together with 260 other ex-students, all of whom had become business leaders, bought out the business school, EDC. The school, based in La Défense in Paris, was renamed School of Leaders and Entrepreneurs and has become the first entrepreneurial school in France.

Today, Alain Dominique Perrin is President and shareholder of EDC, School of Leaders and Entrepreneurs.

Founded in 1950, EDC is the oldest private French business school. It has already trained more than 4,500 business leaders, half of whom went on to create their own business.

EDC now awards a 5 year Masters Diploma, is a member of the Grandes Ecoles conference, and has been granted the ISO 9001 certification.

EDC’s powerful international network consists of some 12,000 graduates spread over 74 countries. Considered to be one of the best post-Baccalaureat business schools, it also houses the Institut Supérieur du Marketing du Luxe. The MBA programme “Luxury Brand Marketing and International Management” with its 700 graduates, has become a worldwide reference for the profession.
Each year since 2003 EDC has awarded Trophies for “Ethics and Governance”, which reward 3 categories of business for their ethical initiatives.
