His beginnings at Cartier
Born on 10th October 1942 at Nantes (France), Alain Dominique Perrin is a graduate of Ecole des Cadres (EDC).
In 1969, after having been, notably, an antique dealer, he joined the Cartier Lighter Company as Commercial Attaché, before becoming Managing Director a year later.
In 1976 he was named CEO of “Must de Cartier”.
After the merger of this company with Cartier Jewellers, Alain Dominique Perrin rose to the head of the Directorship of Cartier International and Cartier SA in 1981.
